Thepla is a traditional Gujarati dish, a variation of Indian bread. Thepla Paneer wrap has a unique twist from the other normal wraps or Frankies. The main ingredients include- Paneer- a good source of proteins and a fair source of calcium, Cauliflower is a good source of dietary fiber, Vitamin C, calcium, and manganese. This dish is easy to make and brings and offer numerous health advantages. 

INGREDIENTS:
For The Thepla:
  • whole wheat flour - ½ katori
  • ragi atta - ½ katori
  • Oil - minimal
  • Fenugreek (methi) leaves - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder (haldi) - ½ tsp
  • Chili powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt -  to taste
For The Stuffing:
  • Oil - minimal 
  • Ginger-green chilli paste ½  - tsp
  • Grated cauliflower ½ - cup 
  • Grated paneer ¼  - cup
  • chopped coriander (dhania) 1 - tbsp 
  • salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Combine all the ingredients for the thepla in a bowl, knead into a soft dough. Step 2 Divide the dough into 2 portions & rull out rotis. Step 3 Cook the thepla on a tava till brown spots appear on both sides. Keep aside. Step 4 Cook each thepla on a tava (griddle), using ¼ tsp of oil till brown spots appear on both the sides. Keep aside. Step 5 Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the ginger-green chili paste, cauliflower, and sauté till it is cooked. Step 6 Add the paneer, coriander, and salt, mix well. Step 7 Divide the stuffing into 2 equal portions and keep aside. Step 8 Place a thepla on a clean dry surface and apply a chutney/dip/hummus on it. Step 9 Place a portion of the stuffing in the center and rull it up (Frankie like). Add lettuce, peppers, any veggies of your choice to make it healthy & filling.
