A pancake with oats that are rich in beta-glucan and soluble fiber provides satiety for a long time and has egg white which makes it protein-rich. Cinnamon helps to control blood sugar levels.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Wheat flour - 20 g
  • Oats - 10 g
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Baking powder - a pinch
  • Cinnamon - a pinch
  • Milk - ¼ cup
  • Butter - ¼ tsp 
  • Egg whites - 2
  • Salt - to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt. Step 2 Separately, combine the milk and egg whites in a small bowl.  Step 3 Add to the flour mixture, stir it until moist.  Step 4 Preheat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Grease it with butter Step 5 Now pour the batter. When the tops of the pancakes are covered with bubbles, flip them and cook until the bottoms are gently browned.
