It plays a great contribution in controlling body weight. It contains virtually least fats and also free from saturated and trans fatty acids.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Couscous  - 2 tbsp
  • Low fat milk - ½ cup
  • Chopped tomatoes - ¼ cup
  • Chopped spring onions - ¼ cup
  • Chopped coriander (dhania) - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped mint leaves (pudina) - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Cook the couscous in the milk for 8-10 minutes on a medium flame or till it is tender.  Step 2 Drain and set aside to coul.  Step 3 Add all the other ingredients and toss well.  Step 4 Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving so that all the flavors blend.  Step 5 Serve chilled.
