Green raw bananas are abundant in resistant starch and an essential nutrient called short-chain fatty acid. They also have vital minerals and vitamins, including potassium, vitamins B6 and C, dietary fiber, and substantial quantities of protein. They have a significant role to play in aiding digestion and preventing stomach problems, such as soothing ulcers. Chestnut flour is a very good source of magnesium and calcium helps in increasing the bone mineral density. It has a good
source of anti oxidants like fruits and helps in preventing illness.                                 


INGREDIENTS:
  • Raw banana (boiled and mashed) - 1 no.
  • Singhara flour - 1 tbsp
  • Green coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Freshly chopped mint leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped green chilies - 1 tsp
  • Rock salt - as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Cardamom seeds powdered - ¼ tsp
  • Roughly grounded peanuts - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp [for shallow frying]

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Cut, peel, and steam the raw bananas. Mash the bananas and add all other ingredients.  Step 2 Mix well with your hands and form a dough. In a separate bowl, make a runny batter with singhara atta.  Step 3 Divide the banana mix into 6-7 balls, then shape them into cutlets using your hands.  Step 4 Dip the cutlet into the slurry covering it fully. In a non-stick pan, heat ghee/oil, then shallow fry the cutlets.  Step 5 Serve hot with chutney
