This recipe is packed with generous amount of nutrients.It is an easily digestible and baby friendly recipe as it is very delicious due to the addition of dates/ prunes and apple juice. Oats complement this recipe because of its high soluble fiber content which makes this recipe easily digestible.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Rolled oats - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Apple/pear/mango - 2 slices
  • Berries/grapes - 5 to 6 
  • Prunes / dates - 1 [chopped]
  • DIRECTIONS:
    Step 1 Peel the apple and pear then cut into dices. Step 2 Put the apple and pear along with water in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Step 3 Add the oats then simmer for a minute or two. Step 4 Add all the fruit, prunes, and simmer for a couple more minutes, until the fruit is tender, and then serve. Step 5 Serve with a dullop of plain greek yogurt & 2 coarsely pounded almonds/walnuts
