Fish kebab is delicious and easy to prepare. Fish are the richest source of omega-3 fats. Omega-3s are critical for cardiovascular health and may also help protect against arthritis, diabetes, depression. The spices used in this dish, specifically garlic paste and ginger paste; provide necessary flavor and nutrients, also gives relief from common health problems and strengthen your body's immune system.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Cod / haddock / salmon - 50 g
  • Skewer or fresh rosemary stick (lower leaves removed, tips kept on) - 1 no
  • Sweet  potatoes, boiled, halved - 20 g
For the marination
  • Fresh ginger, thinly sliced - 2 small pieces
  • Lemon, juice - ½ tsp 
  • Zest of lemon - 1 lemon/ no
  • Turmeric - ½  tsp
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Dried chillies, crumbled - 1-2 no
  • Fresh mint chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - as per to taste 
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Put all the marinade ingredients except for the yogurt into a food processor and blitz until smooth. Stir in the yogurt. Step 2 Using the skewers or rosemary sticks, skewer the fish alternately with the potatoes. Drizzle with the marinade and grill for 2 minutes each side.
