INGREDIENTS:
  • FOR BOILING CHOLE :
  • Chickpea / Chole (raw) - 30 gm
  • Water - To cook.
  • FOR PREPARING CHOLE PANEER CHAAT :
  • Cucumber (chopped) - 1 small
  • Paneer / Cottage cheese - 20 gm
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Black salt / Kala namak - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds powder / Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Oil - 1/2 tsp (cooking spray also works)
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya (For garnishing) - 1 tbsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Soak chickpeas overnight. Step 2 Transfer soaked chickpeas to a pressure cooker. Step 3 Cook it till 4 whistles and become soft. Step 4 Once done, strain the chickpeas. Step 5 Take oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala, black salt, cumin seeds powder, coriander leaves, and mint leaves. Mix well. Keep it aside. Step 6 Take boiled chole in a bowl. Add cucumber and paneer.  Step 7 Now add the prepared spice mixture to the chole. Once done, take it out in a serving plate and garnish it with coriander leaves.
