A mouthwatering meal, containing colorful ingredients, makes the Chicken Frankie not only a yummy snack but also a complete meal. Made with whole wheat roti, adds to the fiber content of the recipe, giving one a feeling of fullness. Also, the addition of tomatoes, onions, and capsicum add on to its nutritional content and the presence of chicken adds on to the punch of protein.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Whole wheat and ragi flour mix-use both - [50-50] - 20 grams
  • Chicken - 1 pc, 50 g (palm size) 
  • Grated carrot - 1 small 
  • Onions, chopped - ½ small
  • Cabbage - 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp (alter as per taste)
  • Tomato, chopped - ½ small 
  • Capsicum, chopped - ½ small 
  • Salt - use minimum, to taste
  • Oil - 1/2 tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Combine the chicken, carrot, onion, lemon juice, and salt and mix well. Step 2 Roll the whole wheat flour/multigrain flour and ragi flour into chapattis. Keep aside.  Step 3 Warm the chapattis and place them on a serving plate. Add chicken, some capsicum, and tomato strips.  Step 4 Roll up the chapatti and serve hot.
