Chawli is a popular vegetable in India. Chawali leaves contain a good amount of soluble and insoluble dietary fibre. They are a rich source of iron, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, and Vitamins A, B6, and C.
Chana dal is low in calories and high in protein and a good source of folate, zinc, calcium.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Chawli beans [raw] - 1 cup 
  • Chana daal [raw] - 1 tbsp
  • Tomato [chopped] - 1 tbsp 
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder - ¼ tsp
  • Cumin Powder - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder - ¼ tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste 
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add tomato and saute well. Step 2 Add soaked chana dal, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Step 3 Add chawli leaves and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mix, cook for 2-3 minutes. Step 4 Serve hot.
