Apple and smoothie are made for each other, it makes total sense to combine these two flavors into a healthy drink such as an apple cinnamon smoothie. Apples are great for weight loss, are good sources of vitamin A and also contain vitamins B and C. They are also high in two important phytochemicals, pectin and boron. Cinnamon has a fragrant, sweet taste that perfectly complements the flavors. It is one of those versatile spices that goes perfectly with almost anything and makes a great natural sweetener for smoothies.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Apple - 1 Medium size
  • Chilled milk - 1 cup
  • Cinnamon powder/dalchini powder (optional) - ¼ tsp 
  • Sugar – ½ tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Peel, core, and chop the apple. Add them to the blender jar along with ¼ tsp cinnamon powder and ½  tsp sugar. The amount of sugar to be added depends on the sweetness of the apple. so add as required. Step 2 With ½ cup chilled milk blend all the ingredients till smooth. Step 3 Add the remaining ½ cup chilled milk and blend again. Step 4 Pour the apple milkshake into a glass sprinkled with cinnamon powder. You can also add some chopped apple.
