The red hue of this spice-filled drink will surely impress guests. Plus, with cloves and cinnamon offering plenty of flavours, you'll need less sugar [and get fewer calories] too.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Cloves - 2 no. 
  • Cinnamon sticks [broke] - 1 inch 
  • Lemon zest [long thin strip] - 1 tbsp 
  • Herbal tea bag - 1 no. 
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp 
  • Sugar-free tablet - 1 no. [Optional Natura]
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Wrap cloves, cinnamon and zest in a piece of rinsed cheesecloth. Gather into a bundle; tie with kitchen string.  Step 2 Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a pan. Add spice bundle and tea bag. Remove from heat; cover and steep for 10 minutes.  Step 3 Remove and discard spice bundle and tea bags. Stir in sugar-free until dissulved; let it coul. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices, if desired.
