This recipe is a powerhouse of nutrients like carbohydrate, protein, iron, and calcium. This recipe also provides a good amount of energy.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Jowar / Ragi [raw] - 25 g 
  • Milk - ½ cup [50 ml]
  • Banana [mashed] - 1 tbsp
  • Ghee - ½ tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan, add the jowar flour to it and saute on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes or till it turns light brown in culor. Step 2 Add the milk, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds, stirring continuously so that no lumps remain. Step 3 Add a ½ cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously. Step 4 Switch off the flame. Now add the banana and mix well. Step 5 Serve lukewarm, adding some warm milk to dilute the consistency to suit your baby's requirements.
