Makhana is a good source of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, iron and zinc. It is high in fiber and low in calories, therefore it enables weight loss. Adding curd to this recipe works as an energy booster and also, keeps our body hydrated.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Roasted Makhanas - 30 g
  • Hung curd - 2 tsp
  • Mint - 4-5 leaves
  • Red Chilli flakes - ½ tsp
  • Salt - as per to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Dry roast makhanas for 2-3 minutes; allow them to coul down. Step 2 Now soak them in water for 5 minutes. Step 3 Blend in a mixer to a smooth paste with water and keep aside.         How to Proceed: Step 4 Combine the hung curd and the prepared Makhana paste in a bowl and mix using a whisk. Step 5 Add the mint leaves, salt, and red chilli flakes and mix well. Step 6 Serve chilled with pita bread or lavash.
